Alfa’s Giulia line-up had a pretty large gap between the ordinary ‘volume’-models and the excellent Quadrifoglio Verde, which is supposed to be an M3 killer with 510 horsepower out of a pumped V6 turbo. Until now, because Alfa decided to bridge that gap with a brand new ‘Veloce’-model.

This Veloce comes with more aggressive bodywork and a 280 hp turbocharged four cylinder. Its also specced with Q4 all wheel drive, 19 inch 5 hole ‘Alfa-Style’ wheels, and a few custom interior niceties. Shifting goes by an 8-speed automatic.

Price is yet to be announced at this moment, but our guess is the Veloce models will start at around 50 grand in euros, which would make sense when compared to competitors like the Audi A4 S-Line and Mercedes C300 with AMG-package.
